After charming audiences with his debut in "The Archies," Agastya Nanda is gearing up for his next cinematic adventure – the poignant biopic "Ikkis." Directed by the acclaimed Sriram Raghavan, the film tells the story of Arun Khetarpal, the youngest recipient of India's highest military honor, the Param Vir Chakra.

For Agastya, playing Khetarpal comes with a unique privilege – sharing the screen with acting legends like Dharmendra and Jaideep Ahlawat. In a recent interview with Film Companion, the young actor expressed his excitement and gratitude for this incredible opportunity.

"They are such seniors," Agastya said, reflecting on his co-stars. "Especially when you're opposite Dharam ji, and you're interacting with him, it is such a surreal moment. But I hope to learn a lot. They are such great actors and great people. They welcomed me so warmly."

Agastya also recalled a heartwarming encounter with Jaideep Ahlawat during his look test. "I remember I went for Jaideep sir's look test, and he was so warm, and he was just looking forward to it. So, I think there is already a warm vibe on set. I'll definitely go on set and watch everything unfold," he shared.

Playing Khetarpal, a decorated war hero, is undoubtedly a daunting task. But Agastya, with his infectious enthusiasm and dedicated work ethic, seems ready to embrace the challenge. "It's a huge responsibility," he acknowledges. "But I'm excited to work with Sriram sir and learn from him. I'm just putting my head down and trying to do justice to the role."

"Ikkis" promises to be a powerful and moving tribute to Arun Khetarpal's extraordinary life and sacrifice. With Agastya Nanda at the helm, supported by veterans like Dharmendra and Jaideep Ahlawat, the film has all the ingredients to be a cinematic masterpiece. We eagerly await its release to witness Agastya's transformation and embark on this emotional journey with him.
