Mumbai : Digital lending platform Kissht celebrated Holi this year with a meaningful blend of sustainability and community engagement through its festive initiative, “Zindagi Ke Rang, Kissht Ke Sang.” As part of the campaign, Kissht partnered with sustainability focused social enterprise Scrapshala to source eco friendly, plant based Holi colours that were distributed to customers across the company’s Loan Against Property (LAP) branch network.

The initiative combined festive celebration with environmental consciousness. Employees across Kissht’s LAP branches distributed the natural colours to customers as a gesture of appreciation and festive goodwill, extending the spirit of Holi beyond the workplace and into the communities the company serves.

Kissht’s Loan Against Property (LAP) network plays a key role in the company’s secured lending strategy. The platform launched its digital Loan Against Property offering to provide customers and small business owners access to larger ticket credit backed by residential, commercial, or plot properties, with faster approvals enabled by technology driven verification processes.

Unlike traditional mortgage lending, the digital first model simplifies the process with minimal documentation and faster turnaround times, allowing borrowers to unlock the value of their property while continuing to retain ownership. The offering is designed to support a range of financial needs including business expansion, working capital requirements, education, medical expenses, or other major life milestones.

With its growing LAP branch network, Kissht aims to bring this secured lending product closer to customers across key markets while combining digital underwriting with on ground support and customer engagement.

The collaboration also reflects the broader philosophy of the Kissht founders, who have consistently emphasised building a fintech platform that balances innovation with responsibility and community engagement. By partnering with organisations that promote sustainable practices and artisan livelihoods, the Kissht founders aim to ensure that celebrations also create meaningful social impact.

Scrapshala, a Varanasi based social enterprise, is known for its work in sustainability and circular design. The organisation focuses on upcycling materials and creating environmentally conscious products while supporting artisan communities, particularly women artisans. Its natural Holi colours are handcrafted using plant based ingredients rooted in traditional Indian practices, offering a safe and eco friendly alternative to chemical based colours.

Speaking about the collaboration, Shikha Shah, Founder of Scrapshala, said:

“At Scrapshala, we have always believed that celebrations can be joyful without harming the planet. Our natural Holi colors are rooted in Indian tradition, handcrafted with care, and made using plant based ingredients that are safe for both people and the environment.

We are delighted to collaborate with Kissht for their Holi activation, ‘Zindagi Ke Rang Kissht Ke Sang.’ Through this initiative, every pack of eco friendly gulaal distributed is not just adding color to someone’s celebration but also supporting women artisans, promoting conscious consumption, and reducing chemical pollution.

When responsible brands come together, festivals become more meaningful for communities, for customers, and for the planet.”

Through the campaign, Kissht aimed to bring together festive joy and sustainability while strengthening connections with its customers. By distributing eco friendly colours sourced from Scrapshala, the initiative highlighted the importance of conscious choices during festivals that traditionally see widespread use of chemical based colours.

The campaign also reflects a growing emphasis within the organisation on integrating social responsibility into customer engagement initiatives. The Kissht founders have frequently highlighted the importance of building a financial services platform that is not only technologically advanced but also mindful of its broader impact on communities and the environment.

For customers visiting Kissht’s LAP branches during the festive period, the initiative added an unexpected and thoughtful element to the Holi celebrations. The eco friendly colours served both as a festive gesture and as a reminder that celebrations can be vibrant while still being environmentally responsible.

By partnering with Scrapshala, Kissht also contributed to supporting artisan livelihoods and promoting sustainable production practices. The colours used in the campaign are handcrafted by artisan communities, creating economic opportunities while encouraging environmentally conscious consumption.

As India’s fintech ecosystem continues to grow, the Kissht founders remain focused on building a platform that combines technology, responsible lending, and community engagement. Initiatives such as “Zindagi Ke Rang, Kissht Ke Sang” reflect that broader vision where business growth is complemented by efforts that positively impact customers, communities, and the environment.
