Alongside this venture, Mr. Goswami also runs Al Capone's, Singapore's second-largest chain of bars, with 13 outlets (5 pre-pandemic and 8 post pandemic) across the city. Since the first outlet opened in 2019 with a model that allowed them to serve delectable Indian cuisine and liquor at reasonable rates, the restaurant has grown from strength to strength.

With its first location making waves, Rocking Rickshaw has opened its second outlet at the 5-star Park Royal Collection Hotel in Kuala Lumpur in April 2024. This new spot features 4,500 square feet of space, offering Indian delicacies and a boutique Arabic menu. Guests can look forward to live Bollywood music from artistic bands flown in from India, promising an authentic taste of Indian cinema. Future plans include expansions to Bali, Bangkok, and Jakarta.

Mr Goswami remains bullish on the Indian market. He says, “Initially I was a bit sceptical of running an outlet in India from Singapore, however, now seeing the potential, we are open to this notion and if we get the right partner from the F and B industry in India we will enter the Indian market”
